Furthermore, vision has substance. It brings desire to the heart. It is a desire to do more for others and to experience more of God’s ability in one’s life. It becomes your passion. The very reason you live for. The reason you exist, as it were. The potential you strive for. It is that which calls you and awakens you every morning.
Vision also brings joy to the heart. It produces excitement. It is not selfish. It gives. It motivates you and those around you. If a vision is God-given, it will be a picture of something already done. It is something you see as mission accomplished-yet aware of the fact that there is still a long way to go. It is not an imagination only. It is not a fly-by-night idea. It is a reality.
